Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to her Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. She choreographed an 11-year-old dance that led to her being an appearance on German TV appearance as the Russian Snow Maiden, who turns into a jovial Indian Dancer. She graduated from high school with a degree in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She studied improvisation and comedy at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and an Russian mother Olga. Her family relocated into East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she turned 13 and stars along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most famous role. Her most well-known role is the roles she has played in The Following on Fox, The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
